The Miami Marlins has seen their ups and downs within these past two decades. From last place to twice world series champions. After a horrible 2012 season what did they do? They traded their best players to the Blue Jays in return Minor League players. Was this move really necessary? or was it just plain STUPID? Maybe this Marlins owner and General Manager know something we don't. Perhaps the two have been enlightened by a supreme being. All I know is that there is no logical explanations for the moves.

Where is Chad??
Mr. Johnson was probably one of the most controversial Wide-Receivers in his prime. From his wacky celebrations to his changing of his name briefly to Ochocinco. But where is this past all-star? He is a free agent! Maybe its time for Chad Johnson to look toward retirement...
Basketball Hero
Nobody could ever break this.
Could anyone be capable of breaking Wilt Chamberlain's feat in today's basket ball? Very Very unlikely.

Cricket
A sport that is barely known in the United States but is the second most played sport in the world behind Soccer. Cricket.
The Top Sports
With so much cover on Baseball, Basketball, and especially Football news in the U.S it is hard to believe that these sports are ranked #7, #9, #10 in the top 10 sports in the world. As a Colombian raised in the United States, Football is the sport that is seen so much across the nation and I find it almost hard to believe that it is ranked #10! This opened my eyes to the view of sports around the world. It turns out my 3 favorite sports are ranked on very high on the Top 10 sports list. Surprisingly, a sport that I barely heard of before known as Field Hockey is ranked #3.
The Top 10 Sports are what follows:
1. Soccer
2. Cricket
3. Field Hockey
4. Tennis
5. Volleyball
6. Table-Tennis (very very VERY surprising for me)
7. Baseball
8. Golf
9. Basketball
10. Football (known as Gridiron in other parts of the world)
How can Golf be ranked higher than Basketball and Football!? This goes to show that we have to open our eyes when it comes to sports.

NBA 2012-2013 Season
With the new season of basketball almost starting teams such as the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers are showing promise to enter the playoffs. With the acquisition of key 3 point shooter Ray Allen the Miami Heat has become a threat in the paint and on the perimeter. The Lakers also acquired star player Dwight Howard who has dominated the league in all defensive aspects in the game and a top scorer in the paint since his rookie season. Other Playoff caliber teams include the Celtics and the Knicks.

Hunt for October
With less than 10 games remaining in the Major League Baseball (MLB) season, one can already see which teams are making it to the post season. The current teams that appear to make the post season from the American League are the Yankees, Tigers, and Rangers. The Orioles and the A's are the leading contenders for the Wild Card. In the National League the Nationals, Reds, and Giants appeared to make the post season. The Braves and Cardinals are the leading contenders for the National League Wild Card.

The Hockey Lockout
After more than 3 weeks of negotiations between the National Hockey Players Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL) there is no sign of the two parties ever coming in to a resolution for this season. These news does not mean that hockey will not be played this year, just like basketball, Hockey Never Sleeps. Top players in the league have already began signing into other Hockey leagues around the world. Players such as Gemel Smith and Radek Faksa have already signed to Canadian Hockey League (CHL) teams. Stars superstar Loui Eriksson signed to his native Swedish Hockey league and Sergei Gonchar signed to his native Kontinental Hockey League in Russia.
