The Hockey Lockout
After more than 3 weeks of negotiations between the National Hockey Players Association (NHLPA) and the National Hockey League (NHL) there is no sign of the two parties ever coming in to a resolution for this season. These news does not mean that hockey will not be played this year, just like basketball, Hockey Never Sleeps. Top players in the league have already began signing into other Hockey leagues around the world. Players such as Gemel Smith and Radek Faksa have already signed to Canadian Hockey League (CHL) teams. Stars superstar Loui Eriksson signed to his native Swedish Hockey league and Sergei Gonchar signed to his native Kontinental Hockey League in Russia.
